The Assessment Program offers a critical and essential step in the recovery journey. Having a Holistic assessment helps our doctors to have an accurate picture of the patient’s Physical, emotional and psychological state. Which allows them to build the right treatment plan for their specific needs.Our Assessment Program includes initial stabilization for the patient’s current state and hospitalization if needed to ensure a gentle transition for the patient and the family.

What to expect from The Assessment Program?

The Diagnostic Assessment Program can primarily Include:

  • A physical exam and review of the patient’s medical records.
  • Lab studies/blood tests to examine physical health and identify underlying issues.
  • Examining for possible mental health and/or substance use disorders.
  • Patient and Family History evaluation.
  • Full psychiatric evaluation.

Who Can Benefit from the Assessment Program?

  • Patients with undiagnosed Mental and/or Personality Disorders.
  • Patients with Misdiagnosed Mental and/or Personality Disorders.
  • Patients who suffer from all kinds of addictions.
  • Patients with dual diagnosis (have both a mental disorder and an alcohol or drug problem)

When the assessment is complete, Our Consultants meet with the patient and family members to review the recommended treatment plan. Also If needed, detoxification from alcohol or drug abuse; can safely begin during the assessment process.

The Detoxification Program is the process where all traces of alcohol/ drugs are managed to be removed from the body meanwhile medically managing the withdrawal symptoms. The detox step is essential to ensure that the patient is physically stable and ready to start therapy to overcome their addiction.

What to expect from The detoxification Program?

The detox process is done while the patient is at the center to maintain physical comfort and a safe withdrawal process as the detoxification is medically supervised where our doctors are available 24/7 to provide supervision and support to manage symptoms, stabilize the patient’s health. Also keeping patients safe from any harmful physical complications of intoxication and withdrawal.

Inpatient Recovery Program is an intensive addiction Treatment in which the patient stays at our Rehab facility at King Mariout. Patients at King Mariout have access to around-the-clock support and care which is the first recommended step after detoxification.

During the Inpatient Recovery Program, patients are able to completely focus on getting well and sober without the distractions of everyday life. Everyday in The Inpatient Program is carefully scheduled and organized to meet each patient’s needs and treatment plan.

What to expect from the Inpatient Recovery Program?

During your stay at King Mariout A typical day includes Meeting with Psychologists, follow up with your psychiatrist, group therapy, community work and your choice of Sports activities.

Duration: varies between 3 to 6 months according to each Patient’s need and situation.

Post Program Life

During the patient’s stay at the inpatient treatment he/she is already enrolled in a safe and supportive community that helps become his/her safe circle against relapsing, and this is what we ensure he/she still gets after graduating from inpatient treatment.

Outpatient Recovery Program is a flexible treatment; In which patients can participate in it while living a normal life at their home and continue going to work or school. Outpatient treatment plans are specifically tailored to each patient’s needs and situation.

Outpatient Plans may differ in their intensity and frequency; However All Plans typically include Continuous Assessment to prevent relapses, individual therapy sessions, Addiction support groups and Family therapy.

  • Individual session with your psychologist and counselor
  • Group Therapy Session
  • Community Work
  • Sports Activities

Who can benefit from the detoxification Program?

Patients with Alcohol problems & All kind of Drug problems but:

1- He/She is newly wed.

2- Can’t leave the family home for special reasons.

3- Can’t be away from work.

And many other reasons may hold you back to seek help. Please know that it is possible to recover anyhow.

The Women’s Recovery Program was built specifically to address the struggles and barriers women go through during treatment. Where our main goal is the peace of mind of the patient and her family. Our Program is committed to offer a safe, and comfortable environment for women to focus on their recovery and learning the skills that will help them sustain sobriety and succeed in life after treatment.
